Terms and Conditions
By proceeding with the registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions for participation in the Maldives Finance Forum 2025 ("the Event"), organized by the Maldives Pension Administration Office ("the Organizer").
1. Registration and Fees
1.1 Registration Fee
A fee of MVR 1,500 is charged to confirm participation for a seat allocated to the public. A formal invitation and confirmed seat are guaranteed only upon successful receipt of this payment. The fee is non-refundable, except as expressly provided in Section 4.
1.2 Inclusions
The registration fee covers one seat at the Event, lunch and refreshments served at designated times, and return transfer to the event venue from Malé City on the day of the event.
1.3 Non-Transferability
Each paid registration is unique to the participant named in the registration form and is strictly non-transferable. The seat cannot be transferred or assigned to any other individual.
1.4 Seat Allocation
The registration fee does not guarantee a seat at a specific table. All seating arrangements are at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
2. Event Logistics & Conduct
2.1 Venue Transfer
Should the event be held outside of Malé City, return transfers will be arranged from designated departure points at specific times, which will be communicated to confirmed participants in advance. The Organizer is not responsible for participants who fail to arrive at the designated departure point by the allocated time. Alternative transfer arrangements will not be provided.
2.2 Departure Schedule
The return transfer will depart from the venue after the official closing of the Event. The Organizer's transport will not accommodate requests for early departure.
2.3 Personal Travel Arrangements
Participants may contact the event venue (Kurumba Maldives) directly to seek permission for and make their own private travel arrangements. The Organizer is not responsible for any costs or logistics associated with such arrangements.
2.4 Dress Code
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry at the departure point or the event venue to any participant whose attire is deemed inappropriate for the occasion.
2.5 Code of Conduct
Participants must comply with the rules of the event venue at all times. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the Event for reasons including, but not limited to, causing a disruption, engaging in unacceptable behavior, or posing a security risk.
3. Photography, Videography, and Recording
3.1 Official Media
By attending the Event, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and recorded by official Event staff. You consent to the use of such media for promotional, archival, and other purposes without compensation.
3.2 Personal Recording
Participants may use smartphones to photograph or record short videos during the event for personal, non-commercial use, provided it does not interfere with the event or disrupt other attendees. Participants agree to stop recording if requested by the Organizer.
3.3 Prohibited Activities
The use of professional photography or videography equipment by participants is strictly prohibited. Livestreaming the event on any platform is not permitted.
3.4 Official Photographs
Designated photographers will be available at the Event. Participants may request digital copies of photos taken by the official team from the Pension Office at a later date. No prints will be provided.
4. Cancellation, Postponement, and Refund Policy
4.1 Cancellation by Participant
Once payment is made, the registration fee is non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for cancellations requested by the participant for any reason.
4.2 No-Shows & Early Departures
No refund will be provided if a participant fails to show up for the Event or leaves the Event at any time after it has commenced.
4.3 Cancellation by Organizer
In the unlikely event that the Forum is cancelled by the Organizer, a full refund will be provided to all registered participants.
4.4 Postponement by Organizer
If the event is postponed, a full refund will be offered to participants who are unable to or do not wish to attend on the new date.
4.5 Revocation of Participation
The Organizer reserves the right to revoke a participation confirmation at any time before the event date and will issue a full refund to the affected participant.
4.6 Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment. Please note that any transaction fees charged by the payment gateway or bank may be deducted from the refund amount.
5. General Conditions
5.1 Liability
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. The Organizer will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property.
5.2 Changes to Event
The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event program, speakers, date, or venue without prior notice. Changes will be reflected on the official event website and any significant changes will be communicated to registered participants in a timely manner.
